Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Max Egypt Tours. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your travel experiences with us. By purchasing or participating in any tour package, customizable itinerary, or excursion managed by Max Egypt Tours, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Agreement

A contract is formed between Max Egypt Tours ("the Company," "we," "us") and the client ("you," "the Traveler") once a booking is confirmed in writing by our support team and the initial required deposit has been successfully cleared.

The person making the booking guarantees that they have the authority to accept, and do accept on behalf of their party, the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure all traveler names, passport details, and travel dates provided are 100% accurate.

2. Payments and Deposits

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour cost (or higher during peak holiday seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter) is required at the time of confirming your customized itinerary.
  • Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
  • Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.

3. Customization, Modifications, and Ultimate Flexibility

True to our ethos of Ultimate Flexibility, we welcome itinerary adjustments. We do not charge an administrative fee for your first two major itinerary modifications prior to 30 days before arrival.

Any subsequent changes, or modifications requested within 30 days of arrival, may incur operational costs levied by third-party providers (such as luxury Nile cruise liners, domestic airlines, or domestic train operators). We will communicate any additional costs clearly before securing amendments.

CRITICAL NOTICE Regarding International Flights: Our customizable travel experiences cover land arrangements, internal flights, and regional excursions within Egypt. They do not include international flights to and from Egypt, which remain the sole responsibility of the Traveler.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your trip, written notification must be received by our award-winning support team. Cancellations are subject to the following charges based on the date the written notice is received:

  1. From booking date up to 45 days prior to departure: Loss of the non-refundable deposit.
  2. Between 44 and 30 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
  3. Between 29 and 15 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
  4. Within 14 days of departure or "No Show": 100% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.

5. Changes and Cancellations by the Company

While Max Egypt Tours makes every effort to operate all tours as advertised, we reserve the right to alter itineraries or cancel tours when necessary due to operational constraints, safety considerations, or events of Force Majeure (including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, political instability, civil unrest, or sudden government restrictions on historical monuments).

In the rare event of a cancellation by us due to Force Majeure, we will provide a travel credit voucher equivalent to the value of all recoverable funds, allowing you to reschedule your dream vacation at your convenience.

6. Passports, Visas, and Health Regulations

Travelers must possess a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond their intended date of departure from Egypt. It is the absolute responsibility of the traveler to obtain and maintain valid entry visas. Max Egypt Tours is not liable for entry refusals arising from improper documentation.

Travelers must comply with all health and vaccination regulations prescribed by Egyptian authorities at the time of entry.

7. Travel Insurance

It is a strict condition of booking with Max Egypt Tours that all travelers secure a comprehensive travel insurance policy. This insurance must cover personal injury, emergency medical and repatriation expenses, loss of luggage, and trip cancellation or curtailment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Max Egypt Tours acts as an agent and coordinator for independent third-party service providers, including hotels, Nile cruise vessels, transport companies, and local guides. While we select our partners with the utmost care to provide safe and premium experiences, we cannot be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by the acts or omissions of these third-party suppliers.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt.
